Prinny dood!

I started a Prinny fan art at work today and took it home to finish.  I've been trying out some new techniques and experimenting with some new brushes. :)

 

Inktober 06

Abe Sapien sketch.

This one was a bit all over the place with media used.  I wanted to try out some ink wash but I think I used the wrong brush.  I just tried to roll with my synthetic acrylic brushes but I think I would've fared better if I used a horse hair brush.  Ah well next time.  You also might notice little screen dot patterns and that's because I finally used some screen tone that I bought awhile back.  It's pretty neat but very tedious.  I had fun with this one and learned a few new things as well.  Abe's a cool character, he's just got fish for brains. ;)

New Warcraft TCG card.

This was a card I did for Tomb of the Forgotten expansion set that just came out.  I mixed it up a little and used artrage for some of this.

Zombies!!!

I still need to see Zombieland. That, in combination with the approaching Halloween , made me want to draw some zombies. This time I tried to keep my brush strokes a little more broad. It was a lot of fun to work on and was a lot quicker. Definately learned something with this one. :)

Slimer redesign.

Another allied-forces topic. This week's was movie monster. Co-worker Kevin mentioned Slimer and it sounded fun. This is what I came up with after 3-4 hours. I had a lot of fun with this one. Tried to stay a lot looser which made it a quick one. Tanks for looking. :)

Thicket Troll

This guy took me some time over the last week but I've finally finished him. I've learned a lot from this piece and am excited to start another one that's similar. I was thinking of him as another simple enemy that you might fight in a game. He makes his home in the thicket of the forest. Which forest? Who knows. Thanks for looking. :)

Bear-Crow...finished!

Growl! This guy was fun to work on. I experimented with Paint Tool Sai on this piece, what a fun program! I also used that in combination with Photoshop. Hope he's satisfactory. I'm always open to critiques so send em my way. :) -Jon
