This one was a bit all over the place with media used. I wanted to try out some ink wash but I think I used the wrong brush. I just tried to roll with my synthetic acrylic brushes but I think I would've fared better if I used a horse hair brush. Ah well next time. You also might notice little screen dot patterns and that's because I finally used some screen tone that I bought awhile back. It's pretty neat but very tedious. I had fun with this one and learned a few new things as well. Abe's a cool character, he's just got fish for brains. ;)

Old but New.
These were a couple of pieces I showed at the first Four Eyes Collective art show March last year. I realized I never posted them on the blog. I had a blast painting these and I sold a handful of prints at the show.
I've always been a fan of western themed paintings so I thought I would take a shot at doing a couple, my way. ;)

Merry Christmas 2012!
Hey everyone. Long time no post. I will have to do a large art dump soon to make up for the blog's inactivity, but for now, here's my Christmas card this year. I did this with pencil, watercolor, and ink. Hope you all like it and enjoy your holidays. See you in 2013! :)

Death rides a white beach cruiser.
This piece was done for the White Out collective's first show. It's on an 11X14 piece of wood panel, done with acrylics. I had a lot of fun with it. I tried to keep it as loose and expressive as I could. It was hard to not go in and define more of the details but I resisted. ;)

Hugo vs Alex youngling edition.
I figured their rivalry had to go way back so instead of looking it up on the internet, I made something up. =P

New Warcraft TCG card.
This was a card I did for Tomb of the Forgotten expansion set that just came out. I mixed it up a little and used artrage for some of this.

Goku vs Zangief!
I just read through Dragon Ball volume 1-3 and felt inspired. The drawing started out as a wrestler, then Zangief, then Zangief chasing Goku. No pat-pat Goku.

Merry Holidays 2011!
I tried something new and did this year's Christmas card with those acrylic inks. This image is at 300 dpi so if it suits your fancy, print it! Merry, Happy, Chirstmas, Holidays everyone, be safe, happy, and stuff.

4 Swords.
Pretty much how all sessions of Four Swords went for me. XD
These were originally intended to be one single drawing, but I didn't have any scrap illo board that would accommodate all four Links. So I had to pull the straggler off to a separate piece, which I guess made sense in the end. I did these with acrylic inks and black ink.

Zelda's 25th Anniversary.
There's a new Zelda game out and I'm playing Ocarina of Time. Can't wait to try out Skyward Sword though. :) This one was an experiment with some acrylic based, colored inks and colored pencils. The process was pretty simple so I'll probably try more of this technique out.

Autopilot.

This is an image that I did for my sister's blog. I'll post a link to that particular post once she puts it up so you can see the picture in context. I thought Id try something a little new here and kept as much of my original lines as I could manage (all of them). I'm also trying a very muted/limited palette which is a little new to me. I'm definitely going to have to toy around with it more in the future. :)

edit: as promised, here's the text to go with the image. Thanks for the inspiration An-ja-juh!!
